The house used as the main location, the Paiva family residence, during the filming of Ainda Estou Aqui (I'm Still Here) is located in the Urca neighborhood in Rio de Janeiro's South Zone. The real Paiva family home from the 1970s stood in Leblon, on Avenida Delfim Moreira, but that original building no longer exists. For the film, director Walter Salles chose this historic 1937 mansion in Urca because its architecture and atmosphere suited the recreation of the period. After the film's success, the building became a point of interest for tourists and fans of the movie.
